Precision Aerobatic Contest Scoring System (PACSS) was written as a hobby-project, with all that includes. PACSS targets the Contest Director trying to manage a local event. It's fairly simple in its approach and presents the most commonly used functions necessary to manage and score the local contest.

This software is completely free!! I do ask that you register so that I have a record of who is using the software. You will be "bugged" to register every time you use the system until you do register. This is the only difference between a registered and unregistered version. There is NO expiration date and no limitation in the functionality.

I have tried my best to make the software bug-free, but I can not guaranty anything.  Testing against previously run contests, and the feed back from users indicate the competition results are as anticipated. The system has been used successfully at numerous contests include the AMA Nationals. BUT...verifying the accuracy of the software and identifying any problems encountered by using this software is YOUR sole responsibility. The data included with the installation package, specifically the maneuvers and schedules are accurate to the best of my knowledge, but, again, it is your responsibility to verify the accuracy.

Please Spend Some Time Getting Familiar With The System!!!

Waiting till Friday or the morning of your contest to identify a problem puts YOU at great risk. If you have a problem, check the system "Help" first. I will try to respond and repair any error reported in a reasonable timeframe. BUT, I have a day job! And I am on the road some so I may be out of touch!

There have been a number of enhancements over the past couple of years specifically to support the US AMA Nationals. These enhancements have been incorporated into the general releases. The most current release of the system is Release 3.2.07 dated 01/01/09. There are changes from previous version of the system and a certain amount of caution should be exercised in its use.

PACSS has been tested on systems running Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows ME. The use of any other Window version is at your own risk.  PACSS has NOT been tested on Windows Vista. But I have had users report that it has been used successfully on Vista without any issues.

Please report all problems via e-mail to pacss@pacss.sgmservice.com.

Please see the "What's New" page for a list of the enhancements in this new version.

If you are experiencing Printing problems please see the information on the "FAQ" page.
